| SUMMARY OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE |
|
My 33-year nursing career has spanned a broad range of clinical and administrative practice, including: inpatient, outpatient and long term care management, HMO policies and procedures, and HMO administrative nursing management. I have developed and implement the very policies and procedures that many legal cases are likely to challenge. Because I have such an intimate knowledge of the regulatory aspect of managed care, I have a unique grasp of the pitfalls and advantages that are critical to the outcome of many medical treatment disputes.
JCAHO and HCFA regulations for governing health care settings are tedious, but their understanding is critical to the understanding of any medical condition and its treatment. My combined experience in bedside nursing and administrative nursing management gives me the tools necessary to analyze any medical situation from a variety of perspectives, providing the attorney-client with the most information possible, and the best chance at a successful outcome.
